Make impact as Expert Key Account (m/f/d)

  • Ensure the proper setup of master data in all relevant systems for the assigned key accounts
  • Coordinating and assigning new contacts to the assigned key accounts
  • Monitoring the profitability of the assigned key accounts and forwarding deviations to the key account managers
  • Summarize key activities in a weekly report
  • Coordinate operational actions to ensure proper account management according to contractual agreements and in terms of profitability, effectiveness, quality and functionality
  • Support internally as the main point of contact for all departments and functions concerned
  • Supporting key account managers with major projects
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions
  • Regularly review relevant KPIs (e.g. exemptions, orders, submissions, payment, inventory, etc.) and define corrective actions
  • Identifying cost drivers and supporting the initiation of corrective actions
  • Communicate regularly with regional key accounts and initiate corrective actions on all affected matters
  • Support in analyzing the overall impact resulting from the introduction of new key accounts
  • Regular exchange with various stakeholder groups, e.g. Key Account Manager, Customer Service Manager, Business Relationship Manager IT, Business Analyst Controlling, Regional Key Account, Customers - Participation in various measures (e.g. 5S workshop)
  • Preparation and revision of work instructions
  • Creation of processes (internal & external)

Who you are

  • Completed commercial studies or commercial training with additional qualifications (business administration, logistics, marketing) At least 3 years of B2B experience, ideally in the key account/logistics sector
  • Experience of working successfully in a highly results- and performance-oriented environment with a focus on customer orientation
  • Proven ability to effectively build relationships at all levels
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment - Fluency in written and spoken English and German is a prerequisite - Proficient in MS Office programs, especially Excel + Navision
  • Experience with a key account structure and culture
  • Enthusiasm for numbers and data analysis
  • Passion for communication
